Terms and Conditions
I look forward to sending you chicks, started birds, and adults. I want to ensure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. To help make sure you are satisfied, please take a moment to read through the following terms & conditions.
To Place An Order -
To be added to my preorder or waiting list, please contact me via email at showameraucanas@gmail.com.
Flock Health -
My NPIP certification number is #63-680. I have our Ameraucanas tested yearly by the state of Tennessee. Maintaining a healthy flock is at the top of my priority list.
Shipping Chicks -
I ship my chicks through USPS Priority Mail Express. This is the fastest shipping option available and is the only method in which I ship my day old chicks. I want to ensure their health and safety.
Shipping Information -
Please be sure to include your name, current address and phone number with your payment. When your chicks are shipped, your local post office will hold them when they arrive and they will call you for pick up. If your contact information changes prior to your ship date, please notify me. The shipping cost for my chicks is an estimation provided by the USPS based on the size of the chick box I use and the average weight of the chicks. If your cost of shipping is higher than the estimation provided by USPS, I will bill you accordingly.
Refunds -
I do not offer returns or refunds for preorders that are accepted unless I am unable to fulfill your chick order by the end of my chick season. I hatch yearly from Feb-June. I do not hold any orders for the following season, so if I can’t fulfill your order you will be refunded in full at the end of my chick season. I turn away numerous orders after I am booked each season, and this policy helps to keep my poultry hobby running smoothly. If a trip or a family emergency comes up, please send me an email and I will be sure to not ship your chicks during that time period.
Tracking Number -
Your tracking number will be uploaded and sent to the email address that you provide to me with payment on the day that your chicks are shipped. I am also happy to send a text to the phone number that you provide with your shipping information if you prefer that method.
Shipment Dates -
I will contact you when you are next in line on my waiting list. I typically ship day old chicks during the months of March, April, and May. Ship dates can and do vary according to the weather, fertility and hatch rates.
*I try my very best to fulfill all orders that I am willing to accept, but try as I may, occasionally situations beyond my control arise that may prevent me from getting to your order. Situations such as poor fertility, unfavorable weather conditions for shipping live chicks, and/or bad hatch rates can and do arise from time to time. Please keep this in mind when you place an order. I am a breeder and not a hatchery. I keep my pens very small.
